Attention Bracket Racers:
Effective at the May 24 race, we will now start
using AUTO START. You will be required to courtesy stage during all time trials and eliminations on bracket races.
"Courtesy Staging" means that you and your opponent must BOTH prestage before either car stages.
If you light both the prestage and stage light before your opponent lights the prestage light you will be backed out of the
beams and asked to prestage again. Once both cars are staged, the computer will automatically start the tree at a random
interval (around 2 seconds).
Once your opponent is fully staged and you are prestaged, you must stage your
car in 7 seconds or the computer will automatically start the tree and you will be disqualified.

NEW TRACK MANAGER ANNOUNCEMENT
For
personal reasons Lawren Jones has resigned as Track Manager of the Albuquerque Dragway. He will still be involved at
the track but in a diffrent role.
We are please to announce Grant Langford as our new Track Manager effective immediately.
Grant is not only a former Track Owner, but was the NHRA Division 4 Track Manager of the Year in 2003. With his years
of experience, we are confident he will make a great addition to the
Albuquerque Dragway Team.

NATIONAL DRAGSTER CHALLENGE
PACIFIC ET CHALLENGE INFORMATION FOR 2008
If you are under 18 and are wanting to race at Albuquerque Dragway you must have a "Minor Release and Waiver
of Liability and Indemnity Agreement." Print off the Minor Release and have your parents with a Notary sign the agreement.
You will not be able to race unless this has been completed. Thank you!
